Experienced HGV Technicians will work an alternating early/late shift pattern in a professional, well-equipped workshop.

Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing HGVs to a high standard
  • Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Carrying out MOT preparation and inspections
  • Completing all job cards and documentation accurately
  • Maintaining high levels of workmanship in a fast-paced environment

Shift Pattern (Alternating Weekly):

  • Early Shift: Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 3:00pm; Saturday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
  • Late Shift: Monday – Friday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Requirements:

  • Essential:
    • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
    • IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) qualification/accreditation
    • Proven experience across all aspects of HGV maintenance and repair
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Own tool kit
  • Desirable:
    • IRTEC accreditation
    • HGV/PSV Licence
