The Role
We’re working with a well‑established business in the commercial vehicle sector that is looking to bring in a technically minded graduate or equivalent with the intention of developing them into a future manager. This isn’t a formal graduate scheme, but a hands‑on opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. You’ll spend time across different areas of the operation to understand how everything fits together—particularly within the workshop, service, and parts departments. The long‑term goal is for this person to step into a supervisory/management role within the workshop and service side of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Getting involved in day‑to‑day workshop and service operations
- Learning how jobs are booked, scheduled, and managed
- Spending time with different teams to understand processes across the business
- Supporting with parts, stock, and general operational tasks
- Gaining an understanding of how a busy commercial vehicle operation runs
- Building toward overseeing workflow, technicians, and service delivery
