Due to continued investment and growth, another exciting opportunity for a helpdesk administrator has arisen. This role is ideal for someone with helpdesk experience or a willingness to be trained in a dynamic, upcoming business with a drive to progress further. Go-Fix Mechanical and Drainage Services provides drainage vacuum tanker and other maintenance services for a broad range of clients in central London and the south of England.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of work with excellent customer service
  • Work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
  • Prioritise workloads; multitasking is essential in our fast‑paced, reactive helpdesk
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Great communication skills – able to deal with customers at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Able to pick up new processes, retain and process information
  • Work as part of a team and carry out a variety of tasks
  • Work independently as well as taking direction from others, managing time effectively and efficiently

Requirements

  • Monitor mailboxes
  • Log in and follow up on emergency callout orders & PO’s
  • Ensure all jobs from previous evenings and weekends are updated
  • Answer higher‑volume inbound calls, assist customers with specific enquiries and job bookings
  • Operate, upload and update jobs on our company job management system
  • Update worksheet with changes and statuses of each job
  • Manage client portals
  • Prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Provide level of support to our mobile engineers
  • Provide clients with updates on the progression of jobs and projects
  • Work to time scales as part of a high‑performing team
  • Take direction from line manager
