  • Senior Paid Social Manager
  • Department: Marketing
  • Description

Go City is transforming the way people see and experience the world’s greatest destinations.

We give our customers total flexibility to choose the experiences, tours and activities they want to visit at incredible savings.

Backed by highly successful Private Equity firm Exponent and headquartered in Covent Garden, London, the business is highly profitable with 3+ million customers globally.

We’re looking for a hands‑on, commercially minded Senior Paid Social Manager to own our paid social activity across Meta, Instagram, You Tube and Tik Tok.

This is an executional and strategic role — you’ll build and manage campaigns yourself, own performance reporting, and translate data into commercial recommendations that shape how we think about audience, creative and budget allocation.

The immediate priority is driving conversion efficiency and consideration across paid social.

As the business scales its ambition into brand and awareness investment, this role will grow with it — covering video, audio and connected TV.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution. Plan, build, traffic and optimise campaigns end‑to‑end across Meta Ads Manager, Instagram and Tik Tok Ads.
  • Audience & Targeting. Own audience strategy: retargeting pools, lookalikes, CRM‑matched segments and interest‑based prospecting.
  • Optimisation. Monitor daily performance and make real‑time bid, budget and creative decisions to hit CPA and volume targets.
  • Reporting. Own performance reporting: build dashboards, run weekly stakeholder read‑outs and translate data into clear commercial actions.
  • Testing. Design and interpret A/B tests and incrementality studies — audience, creative and placement — and present findings with clear recommendations.
  • Creative. Manage creative briefing workflows with in‑house or agency teams, ensuring assets are built for platform and tested systematically.
  • Agency Management. Act as day‑to‑day contact for social agency partners, holding them to high standards on delivery and insight.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

  • 3–6 years of hands‑on paid social experience — you've built and trafficked the campaigns, not just overseen them.
  • Deep platform expertise across Meta Ads Manager, Instagram and Tik Tok; confident operating independently across all three.
  • Strong grasp of audience mechanics: pixel‑based retargeting, CRM matching, lookalikes, exclusions and sequential messaging.
  • Analytically rigorous — comfortable modelling media plans, calculating break‑even CPAs and spotting when data doesn't add up.
  • Track record managing meaningful budgets (£300k+ annually) and delivering against performance KPIs.
  • Fluent in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Tableau, Looker Studio or similar reporting tools.
  • Commercially curious — you ask ‘why’ before ‘what’ and connect your work to business outcomes, not just platform metrics.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to display or programmatic platforms: DV360, The Trade Desk, Campaign Manager 360.
  • Experience with ad servers, tag management (GTM, Floodlight) or brand safety tools (IAS, Double Verify).
  • Familiarity with attribution modelling, MMM or incrementality testing frameworks.
  • SQL or Python for data querying and analysis.

Benefits

  • Annual Go City Explorer Pass allowance
  • Enhanced pension contributions (5% employer)
  • Life assurance: 4x your base salary

• Time off

  • Annual leave: 25 days + bank holidays
  • Option to buy additional 5 days annual leave per year
  • Upgraded Family Leave
  • 1x Community day. Take a day off to give back to the community
  • Work from Anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year
  • Health care cash plan
  • Personal Learning Budget & dedicated time for development
  • EAP providing access to counselling, finance support, etc.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
