We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to adults with physical disabilities and acquired brain injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Medication administration & associated record keeping.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Senior/Team Leader is desirable.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Familiarity with creating and managing support plans NVQ 3 or equivalent is advantageous.
- Medication administration experience.
What we offer:
- Week day pay of £14.50 per hour and £15.50 per hour on weekends.
- Weekly pay on a Friday.
