We are a multi-award winning health & social care recruiter, currently recruiting experienced Project Workers on behalf of our client, who provide housing, move-on accommodation & floating support to individuals aged 16 - 21 years old. These services are provided for homeless, at risk of homelessness, including children & care leavers.

The job purpose is to provide high quality person-centred support to enable and empower clients to develop the skills necessary for independent living.

Working hours: 8am - 4pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 8am shifts available to suit. You can choose the shifts and days you work - but some flexibility is required.

Duties will include:

  • Establish professional relationships with clients via effective communication to promote independence by developing daily living skills & social engagement.
  • Provide intensive housing management services to ensure clients maintain their tenancy, stay safe and understand their rights and obligations.
  • Provide advocacy, liaise with external agencies to ensure maximum support is delivered.
  • Manage and implement safeguarding responsibilities and promote safe practices.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have excellent communication skills, good understanding of written & spoken English, demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to clients' needs.
  • Have previous experience of working within this sector and have working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • It is desirable if you have NVQ/Diploma 3 in Health & Social Care or similar and a full driving license with own transport.

What we offer:

  • Pay rates from £14.00 - £15.10 p/h depending on shift.
