About the Role

As the Managing Director , you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s strategy, driving business growth, and fostering key relationships within the transport industry and the local community. You will lead a team of senior executives and oversee a workforce of more than 7,500 colleagues , ensuring operational excellence and business effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision that ensures long-term success.
  • Lead and inspire the senior leadership team to maximize performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, transport networks, and government bodies.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to shape industry-leading strategies.
  • Represent Go-Ahead London at events and conferences, championing innovation in transport.
