Salary: £924.51 per week / £48,074.52 per year.

We are expanding our in‑house engineering team and introducing an exciting new opportunity: a Heavy Vehicle Recovery Operator role. This is a high‑impact, frontline position where no two days are the same. You’ll be the one who gets London moving again — safely, quickly, and efficiently.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience operating heavy recovery vehicles (HGV/PSV recovery background desirable)
- A valid Category C+E (Class 1) HGV licence with Driver CPC
- Strong knowledge of recovery techniques, load security, and roadside safety procedures
- Ability to remain calm and resourceful under pressure, solving problems independently
- A professional, customer‑focused approach when representing Go‑Ahead London
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
