About The Role
We’re looking for dedicated and reliable Bus Cleaners to join our Asset Presentation team. Your work ensures every bus meets high standards before entering service. This is a physically active role and will involve working shifts, including evenings and weekends.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out thorough internal and external cleaning of buses (floors, seats, windows, driver cab)
- Use approved cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines, including correct PPE use and chemical handling
- Work to set schedules to ensure buses are ready for service on time
- Report any defects, damage, or safety concerns immediately
- Record cleaning activities using our audit and workforce management systems
- Support environmental initiatives through correct waste disposal and recycling
- Follow all garage Health & Safety practices
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (transport or industrial environments desirable)
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Good level of physical fitness
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to work with supervisors, engineers, and shunters
- Willingness to undertake additional duties as required
