Go-Ahead London is the capital’s largest bus operator, employing over 8,000 people at 17 garages across London. We are now recruiting a Senior Vehicle Engineer to be based at our Camberwell garage. We are looking for someone who will strive to provide reliable and effective maintenance so we can ensure a reliable service that people can trust, and help create a London where every journey is taken care of.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and effective maintenance to ensure reliable service. • Work within a team, being approachable, flexible and adaptable to changing business demands.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds level 3 or NVQ level 3 or equivalent. • Experience working on HGV or PCV vehicles. • Hold a PCV licence (or willing to train). • Ability to work early/late shifts, 7 days a week (38 hours a week), including weekends and Bank Holidays as required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: £962.48 per week (GS20). • Pension scheme. • 20 days holiday. • Travel pass for London Buses and the Tube Network.
