About the Role
This is your chance to join the transport industry through our Apprenticeship Scheme: Passenger Transport Driver (Bus, Coach & Tram - Level 2). Over 53 weeks, you’ll gain your PCV licence (Category D) and receive additional, structured training - leading to a qualification equivalent to five GCSEs. This is a full-time, permanent job from day one, with paid training and a career path in one of London’s most vital services.
Shifts include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays - including during training. This is a customer-facing role, so we’re looking for confident communicators who can handle a variety of real-world situations with professionalism and care.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers across London
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist with queries
- Make clear announcements via the onboard PA system
- Perform vehicle checks before your shift
- Stay on schedule and follow your route
- Uphold safety and professional standards at all times
What You’ll Need
- UK Car licence held for at least 6 months
- No more than 6 penalty points (please contact us before applying if you’ve had a drink/drive conviction)
- Able to pass a DVLA medical for bus licence entitlement
- Good maths, English and communication skills
- The legal right to live and work in the UK
- We cannot employ anyone with a tachograph card. Before we offer employment, you must surrender your tachograph card.
