Go-Ahead London is the capital’s largest bus operator. Approximately 7,500 staff from 16 locations, mainly in South and Southwest London, are committed to providing a high-quality passenger experience on around 160 routes under contract to Transport for London (TfL). We run just under a quarter of the London bus network using 2,450 buses and provide an essential public service.

We are looking to recruit school bus drivers based at Bexleyheath and Orpington garages. This role is a 39-week school term-time contract and is ideal for someone who would like to have time off during the school holidays. The successful candidate will be reliable, friendly and professional, and able to provide a safe and comfortable service. You will need to be flexible to commute to either location easily.

Responsibilities

  • It is essential you have a PCV Licence.
  • Drive to the set timetable as much as possible. While driving a company vehicle you are responsible for the health, safety, security, welfare, environmental and fire safety arrangements for yourself and your colleagues.

Working hours are Monday to Friday for approximately 6 hours per day, with the earliest start at 6:00 am and the latest finish at 17:45. The position is paid at £16.11 per hour.

  • Flexible to commute to either Bexleyheath or Orpington.
