Go-Ahead London’s buses are on the Capital’s roads 24 hours a day and all our vehicles are equipped with the latest technologies and innovations. We take exceptional pride in the fleet and we expect them to be maintained to the highest standards and ready to go into service at a moment’s notice.

We are now looking to recruit 4 Senior Vehicle Engineers to be based at our Putney garage, and we are looking for someone who will strive to provide reliable and effective maintenance so we can ensure that we are able to deliver a reliable service that people can trust and which helps to create a London where every journey is taken care of.

Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a ‘can do’ individual who is open and approachable, is happy and comfortable working with a team but is able to be forward looking and both flexible and adaptable to the changing business demands.

Ideally you should be qualified to City & Guilds level 3 or NVQ level 3 or equivalent and have experience working on HGV or PCV vehicles. Additionally, applicants are required to hold a PCV licence. If the applicant does not hold a PCV licence, training will be provided, and the successful candidate will be required to work early/late shifts 7 days a week (38 hours a week) including weekends and Bank Holidays as required. The rate of pay for this post (GS20) is currently £927.69 per week.
