23LG077 – School Bus Driver – Orpington/Bexleyheath
Go-Ahead London is the capital\’s largest bus operator. Approximately 7,500 staff from 16 locations, mainly in South and Southwest London, are committed to providing a high-quality passenger experience on around 160 routes under contract to Transport for London (TfL). We run just under a quarter of the London bus network using 2,450 buses and provide an essential public service.
We are looking to recruit school bus drivers based at Bexleyheath and Orpington garage. This role is a 39‑week school term‑time contract and is ideal for someone who would like to have time off during the school holidays.
Eligibility: PCV Licence mandatory. Reliable, consistently friendly, professional safe and comfortable service. Flexible commute to either location.
- Essential: PCV Licence.
- Responsibility: Drive to the set timetable. While operating a company vehicle you are responsible for health, safety, security, welfare, environmental and fire safety arrangements for yourself and your colleagues.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 6 hours per day, earliest start 6.00 am, latest finish 17.45 pm. Position paid at £16.11 per hour.
Benefits: 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, all holidays taken during non‑school time.
