The Role of Mobile App Marketing Manager
Our client is looking for a results-driven professional with a proven track record of leading mobile marketing performance campaigns at a high level. In this role, you will work closely with internal marketing teams across Spain, Brazil, Mexico, and other key markets to plan and deliver high-impact mobile campaigns that drive measurable results. You will be responsible for managing both direct platform activity and external partnerships to ensure best-in-class app marketing campaigns that meet growth, CPA, and LTV targets in highly competitive markets.
In addition to being an expert in paid app marketing channels across Spain and LATAM (and ideally other regions), you will bring fresh ideas for in-app engagement and activation to enhance performance. You will also contribute to other mobile-focused areas of the business, including App Store Optimization (ASO), mobile attribution, and fraud prevention. This role reports to the Head of Mobile and involves close collaboration with Digital Performance Managers and Country Marketing Managers to drive innovation and sustained growth across all mobile marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of the Mobile App Marketing Manager
- Set up, plan, optimize and report back on performance across mobile campaigns, including but not limited to: App-to-app Display (via Ad Networks), Mobile DSPs, Apple Search Ads, UAC, FB App Campaigns.
- Working with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Country Managers globally to plan, deliver and execute successful monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans for mobile marketing channels.
- Closely monitor and deliver mobile performance within the defined KPIs (growth volume, conversion rates, CPA & LTV).
- Report on mobile marketing channel performance on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to all relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate with, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Deliver complex mobile marketing strategies for growth, identification of in-app fraud and mitigation, as well as assisting on other projects such as ASO, creative optimization, and conversion rate optimization.
- Identify and provide evidence on assisted conversions to all relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop, deliver and execute monthly, quarterly and annual marketing plans for mobile marketing campaigns.
- Identify and test new channels outside of our existing marketing mix in order to add scale to the performance plans.
- Assist on the in-housing of additional markets in 2025-2026 for the relevant channels as per the approved internal in housing migration plan.
- Identify opportunities for increased automation and efficiency through advanced technical solutions.
- Work closely with internal BI team and in house Marketing Analyst to identify cost saving opportunities and further enhance campaign performance.
- Develop robust tracking and measurement systems to ensure we understand the performance of our campaigns accurately, working with BI/MA and other stakeholders as required.
- Collaborate with the Interim Head of Mobile to build robust test and learn creative strategies.
Key Skills and Qualifications of the Mobile App Marketing Manager
- Minimum 4 years experience in Mobile Marketing within the UK; experience in other markets is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in the iGaming industry (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Experience working in a digital performance agency is a plus.
- Proven ability to build and execute creative strategies that drive measurable results.
- Hands-on experience across major performance marketing platforms, with a core focus on Mobile Ad Networks, Mobile DSPs, Apple Search Ads, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads.
- Expert understanding of digital tracking, measurement, and reporting tools used in mobile marketing operations, specifically: AppsFlyer (experience with other MMPs such as Adjust or Singular is beneficial).
- Mobile Fraud Prevention tools such as TrafficGuard and P360.
- Analytics platforms such as Firebase and GA4.
- Experience in digital marketing planning and forecasting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across a matrix environment.
- Strong teamworking and relationship-building skills, with experience collaborating across multiple countries.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
- Up to date with the latest search and platform innovations, ideally maintaining contacts within the mobile marketing industry.
- Experience working with multinational organisations, with an understanding of cultural and regulatory differences.
- Highly data-focused, with the ability to gather insights, identify actionable trends, and present findings clearly and effectively.
- Tech-savvy, with a strong awareness of market tools and experience in evaluating, purchasing, and implementing new technologies.
- Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to uncover insights and craft compelling narratives by integrating data from multiple sources.
