Our client is seeking a detail-oriented MarTech & Web Analytics Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, consent management, conversion tracking, event tracking, and digital measurement. This hybrid London-based role sits at the intersection of marketing, analytics, and engineering, ensuring accurate, scalable, and compliant tracking across web, mobile, landing pages, campaigns, and international markets.

About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation within the iGaming and online entertainment industry, is looking for a MarTech & Web Analytics Specialist to join their growing marketing team. This role is ideal for a technically minded marketing professional with strong experience in web analytics, tag management, digital tracking, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, consent management platforms, and campaign measurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining digital marketing tracking across web and mobile properties, ensuring data accuracy, supporting marketing performance measurement, and helping teams make informed decisions through reliable tracking implementation.

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between marketing, analytics, product, engineering, and external technical teams. You will help ensure tracking requirements are clearly understood, correctly implemented, thoroughly tested, and accurately validated. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, technically confident, and comfortable working across both technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking and Tag Management: Owning and managing Google Tag Manager across active brands, countries, and markets; Managing and maintaining the company’s Consent Management Platform; Managing and maintaining Google Analytics properties across web and app environments; Implementing and maintaining conversion tracking, event tracking, marketing pixels, and third-party tags; Ensuring accurate tracking and measurement reliability across platforms such as Google Ads, Floodlights, Meta Pixel, AppsFlyer, SDKs, and app campaigns; Ensuring tracking implementations remain compliant with GDPR, consent management requirements, and evolving privacy standards; Maintaining a structured, scalable, and reliable data layer; Monitoring tracking performance and proactively identifying issues or inconsistencies.
  • Tracking Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Acting as the main point of contact for tracking-related issues; Investigating and resolving discrepancies in conversion data; Debugging tracking across landing pages, multi-step funnels, and cross-domain journeys; Supporting and maintaining server-side tracking implementations, including S2S, CAPI, and Reporting APIs; Performing regular audits of GTM containers, tags, triggers, variables, and data consistency across multiple platforms; Reducing reliance on external engineering teams by independently resolving tracking issues where possible.
  • Front-End Development Support: Building, updating, and maintaining marketing landing pages through CMS platforms; Supporting landing pages for channels such as PPC, Paid Social, and performance marketing; Implementing tracking requirements directly into front-end code where required; Ensuring pages are responsive, performant, and technically sound; Supporting rapid deployment of campaign-related updates without unnecessary delays.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Acting as a bridge between marketing and technical teams; Translating business requirements into clear technical specifications; Validating and QA testing implementations delivered by external teams; Challenging and verifying technical implementation where required; Supporting teams with clear communication around tracking, tagging, and analytics requirements.
  • Documentation and Best Practice: Maintaining documentation for GTM structure, tagging frameworks, and tracking setups across multiple markets; Establishing and enforcing best practices for tracking implementation; Supporting consistency across all web properties; Maintaining documentation to support audit readiness, quality control, and future scalability.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have: Strong hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager; Experience working with Consent Management Platforms; Experience building and maintaining Google Analytics; A solid understanding of event tracking, conversion tracking, and data layer structures; Experience debugging tracking issues across web and mobile environments; Experience working with marketing and analytics teams; The ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; Familiarity with cross-domain tracking; Exposure to app tracking concepts such as Firebase or similar platforms; Experience in performance-driven industries such as gaming, betting, ecommerce, or digital marketing; Strong attention to detail and a highly organised approach; A proactive, solution-focused mindset; Strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to challenge implementation when needed; Confidence working across both technical and non-technical teams.

Advantageous Skills

The following would be considered an advantage: Front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Creative or design capabilities; Experience supporting landing page development; Experience with server-side tracking, CAPI, S2S, or Reporting APIs; Experience working in the iGaming, betting, online casino, or ecommerce sector; Experience managing tracking across multiple countries, markets, or brands; Experience with app tracking, SDKs, AppsFlyer, Firebase, or similar platforms.

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate will be: Detail-oriented, diligent, and highly organised; Motivated, curious, and eager to learn; Comfortable working in an international and multi-market environment; Confident communicating with, challenging, and influencing stakeholders; Proactive and solution-focused; Accountable, reliable, and able to take ownership of key tracking responsibilities; Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams; Able to validate, question, and improve tracking implementations where needed.

Whats on Offer

The successful candidate will benefit from: 24 days of annual leave, with additional days awarded after 3 years of service; Hybrid working model - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home; Competitive salary plus annual bonus, eligible after completing probation; Private healthcare and life insurance upon successful completion of probation; Participation in the company pension scheme; Exciting company activities, including monthly lunches, corporate gatherings, and other team events; Opportunity to advance professionally within one of the world’s largest iGaming organisations; A fast-paced, collaborative, international working environment.
