They are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Import/Export Coordinator to manage the international movement of goods and ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations. The ideal candidate will oversee logistics, documentation, customs clearance, tariff classifications, and freight cost optimization to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products from suppliers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities for the Import/Export Coordinator:
  • Coordinate all import and export operations, including shipment scheduling, booking transportation, and tracking deliveries from origin to destination.
  • Prepare, review, and manage all required shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Classify products according to international tariff codes (HS Codes) and ensure accurate duty and tax calculation.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve delays, discrepancies, or compliance issues.
  • Monitor and analyse delivery costs, duties, and freight charges to identify savings opportunities and negotiate favourable shipping rates.
  • Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, sanctions, and import/export licensing requirements.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
