The Opportunity
Join a major UK infrastructure programme delivering one of the most significant energy projects in the country. This role sits within an Integrated Project Controls team, acting as a centre of excellence for planning, forecasting, and performance insight. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, data-driven decision-making across complex, high-value work packages.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Primavera P6)
- Produce and manage forecasts aligned to WBS/CBS structures
- Analyse cost and schedule performance (EVM - CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC)
- Support structured reporting cycles, providing clear and insightful commentary
- Work closely with project teams and contractors to track progress, risks, and performance
- Identify and challenge variances, assumptions, and forecasting outputs
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across project controls systems (e.g. P6, cost tools)
- Support continuous improvement of planning, estimating, and reporting processes
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in project controls, planning, or forecasting on major projects
- Advanced user of Primavera P6
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance reporting
- Understanding of cost, schedule, and risk integration
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders
- Experience working in highly regulated or large-scale environments (e.g. infrastructure, defence, energy)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience with cost or risk tools (e.g. EcoSys, ARM, @Risk, Safran or similar)
- Exposure to large construction or engineering programmes
- Experience working with Tier 1 contractors
