Site Manager – Commercial Fit-Out (CAT A & CAT M) Location: Camden, London Salary: £70,000 + Package Contractor: Well-Established Main Contractor Project Value: £65M A respected and long-standing main contractor specialising in commercial CAT A and CAT M fit-out projects is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a major cut & carve scheme in Camden. This is a flagship £65 million commercial redevelopment, requiring a hands-on, detail-oriented Site Manager with strong structural knowledge and a proven background in complex cut & carve work. The Role: As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of a live construction site. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure all works are delivered safely and on time, and maintain excellent quality and compliance standards throughout. Responsibilities: * Oversee all on-site activity for the full lifecycle of the project * Manage logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor performance * Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards * Report to the Project Manager and work closely with internal and external stakeholders * Maintain site records, progress reports, and daily diaries * Champion site safety and enforce company protocols Requirements: * Minimum 5 years\’ experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor * Proven track record on cut & carve and high-value CAT A / CAT M commercial fit-outs * SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certified * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills * Strong understanding of structural alterations and building services coordination
