We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterer Multi Trader to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plastering and multi-trade tasks in social housing properties. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong work ethic and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform plastering repairs and installations, including skimming, rendering, and patch repairs.
- Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks, such as carpentry, tiling, and basic plumbing work.
- Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of plastering and building systems.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a plasterer and multi trader in the social housing sector.
- Relevant plastering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering).
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites as required.
