Mechanical Piping Supervisor – Newport Data Centre
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Piping Supervisor for a data centre project in Newport. This role involves overseeing all piping activities on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The successful candidate will coordinate with the construction team, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage piping activities, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met.
- Interpret and enforce piping drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and general arrangement layouts.
- Supervise hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, flushing, and other commissioning activities.
- Conduct inspections and work closely with the Quality Control team.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures related to piping work.
- Act as the primary liaison between the site team, project managers, and subcontractors.
