M&E Package Manager

M&E Package Manager, London Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced M&E Package Manager to oversee and manage the mechanical and electrical package for a large-scale, mixed-use scheme in Tooting, with new and existing/refurbished flats and non-residential units. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring the package is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Duties: * Lead weekly progress meetings. * Daily site walks with the M&E floor managers and construction managers. * Witnessing, commissioning, testing and signing off QA sheets with the commissioning team and appointed commissioning consultancy company. * M&E Health & Safety Audits and snap Audits across the project to ensure compliance with design, erection, and verification of M&E installations. * Monthly walks with commercial manager * Oversee and drive M&E project packages while ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. * Manage a skilled team of engineers and subcontractors, fostering high performance and quality standards. * Serve as the key liaison for clients, maintaining strong communication and relationship management. * Utilise excellent IT skills to effectively manage project documentation, reporting, and communication. Skills & Experience: * Extensive experience in leading M&E packages on significant projects. * Strong foundation in either electrical or mechanical engineering disciplines. * Demonstrated ability to interact with clients and manage diverse teams. * Proficient in IT, including project management software and reporting tools. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Strong leadership capabilities to motivate teams and drive project success. * Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders. * Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering innovative solutions under pressure.
