About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Environment & Sustainability Manager to support a major UK infrastructure project in Suffolk. This is a leadership role responsible for environmental compliance, sustainability performance and regulatory engagement across a large-scale construction programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of environmental professionals
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits, licences and consents
- Drive environmental and sustainability performance across site operations
- Maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements
- Manage environmental inspections, audits and monitoring programmes
- Lead environmental investigations and improvement initiatives
- Work closely with project teams, contractors and regulators
- Support delivery of environmental commitments and sustainability objectives
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in an Environmental discipline
- Extensive experience leading Environment & Sustainability teams on major construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities or engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of environmental permits, licences and regulatory compliance
