Job Purpose:
We are seeking two Information Requirements Support Specialists to join our central Data and Information Management Team. This role is pivotal in supporting the rollout of consistent information management practices across the project and its tier 1 supply chain. You will define and drive the adoption of Exchange Information Requirements (EIR), ensuring seamless information exchange and compliance with industry best practices, including ISO 19650 principles for lifecycle information management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture business requirements for information exchange and translate them into comprehensive EIR documentation.
- Advocate and implement ISO 19650 principles to ensure best practice lifecycle information management.
- Collaborate with project workstream leads and suppliers to drive adoption of information management protocols.
- Produce reports and presentations to communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to the Information Management Lead.
- Develop user-friendly training materials and guidance to support EIR implementation.
- Monitor and report on delivery performance, providing weekly updates to the Data and Information Management Team.
- Ensure all project materials and evidence are stored in the designated SharePoint site, adhering to governance protocols.
- Identify and escalate risks, ensuring alignment with project timelines and compliance requirements.
- Integrate lessons learned and feedback from suppliers and project teams to enhance EIR effectiveness.
- Support various contract types and ensure solutions are maintainable, user-friendly, and compliant with industry-standard security requirements.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in information management or data management within capital, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of designing and embedding information management protocols, preferably aligned with BS1192 or ISO 19650 standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to produce clear, concise reports and training materials.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage complex requirements and ensure compliance.
- Experience in process improvement and driving adoption of standardized practices.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certification in ISO 19650, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) or project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira).
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., energy, infrastructure) is advantageous but not essential.
