We are seeking an experienced and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to join our social housing refurbishment team.

About the Role

You will be the main point of contact for residents during refurbishment and maintenance projects. This is a customer-focused role ensuring residents are well-informed, supported, and satisfied throughout the works while helping to minimise disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage resident engagement across allocated projects, including pre-start visits and ongoing communication.
  • Draft and issue clear letters, notices, and programme updates to residents.
  • Maintain accurate records including resident trackers, vulnerability registers, and access logs.
  • Identify vulnerable residents and ensure appropriate support and safeguarding measures are in place.
  • Handle and resolve resident complaints and queries professionally.
  • Liaise closely with Site Managers and Project teams to coordinate access and works.
  • Support and mentor Trainee Resident Liaison Officers.
  • Carry out pre- and post-inspections and provide regular performance reports.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Resident Liaison or customer service role within social housing or construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across sites.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a demanding workload.
