Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the company vehicle responsibly and safely; obeying at all times, the traffic laws and highway code.
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects found are reported to the Transport Manager.
- Carry out deliveries and collections to our customers in a professional manner.
- Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using appropriate documentation.
- Ensure that any equipment on the vehicle is secured and protected where necessary.
- Demonstrate great customer service skills in all aspects of the working day.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge in order to ensure accurate and effective deliveries.
- Represent the Company and values of the business and portray a professional and business-like image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work.
Requirements:
- Must hold a Class 2 licence and have experience in driving Class 2 vehicles.
- Possess a full and valid Driver Certificate of Professional Compliance (CPC).
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Good customer service skills.
