HGV Class 2 Driver in Hemel Hempstead

A key client of ours is recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver at GMS International. The role is based in Hemel Hempstead and offers ongoing work on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right individual.

Role Summary

The driver will handle store deliveries, customer deliveries, and site deliveries. The position is full‑time and requires you to be available to unload vehicles at client or customer locations where required.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience.
• Full CPC and DIGI tachograph.
• Ability to lift heavy goods.
• Excellent customer‑service skills – customer‑facing role.
• HI‑Vis vest and safety boots.

Pay and Working Conditions

• Pay Rate: £16.00–£18.00 per hour.
• Shift pattern: Monday‑Friday.
• Overtime after 8 hours worked.
• Free on‑site parking.
• Location: Hemel Hempstead.
