We are currently seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive company vehicles responsibly and safely at all times, adhering to all traffic laws and the Highway Code.
  • MUST be happy to support the team with Lifting and Loading.
  • Complete daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly to the Transport Manager.
  • Carry out customer deliveries and collections in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections using the correct documentation.
  • Ensure all equipment and goods on the vehicle are secured and protected where required.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service throughout the working day.
  • Build and maintain strong product knowledge to ensure accurate and effective deliveries.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times, promoting the values of the business to customers, potential customers, and the general public.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence.
  • Previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles is essential.
  • Full and valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work.
