Job Title: Warehouse Operative / Driver – Immediate Start Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative and Driver looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative and Driver to join their team immediately on a temporary contract running until 02/10/2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, with approximately 80% warehouse duties and 20% driving. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative and Driver who is confident behind the wheel of a company van and equally comfortable working within a busy warehouse environment. The Role As a Warehouse Operative and Driver, your responsibilities will include: * Picking, packing and preparing customer orders. * Using a PDA handheld device and barcode scanning system accurately. * Loading and unloading deliveries safely. * Stock control and general warehouse housekeeping. * Completing deliveries and collections using a company van when required. * Ensuring all deliveries are completed professionally and on time. * Following all health and safety procedures within the warehouse and whilst driving. What We're Looking For * Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative and Driver. * Confidence driving company vans with a full UK driving licence. * Experience using PDA devices and barcode scanning systems. * Good attention to detail and accuracy. * A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. * Reliability and the ability to start immediately. Working Hours * Monday to Friday * 8:00am – 4:30pm Pay * £12.75 per hour * Paid through an umbrella company (payroll company) Contract * Immediate start available * Temporary assignment running until end of October If you're a dependable Warehouse Operative and Driver with warehouse experience, confident van driving skills, and you're available to start immediately, we'd love to hear from you.
