Overview
Warehouse Operative / Driver – Immediate Start.
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative and Driver to join their team immediately on a temporary contract running until 02/10/2026.
This role involves approximately 80% warehouse duties and 20% driving.
The candidate should be confident behind the wheel of a company van and comfortable in a busy warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders.
- Using a PDA handheld device and barcode scanning system accurately.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
- Stock control and general warehouse housekeeping.
- Completing deliveries and collections using a company van when required.
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed professionally and on time.
- Following all health and safety procedures within the warehouse and whilst driving.
- What We\'re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative and Driver.
- Confidence driving company vans with a full UK driving licence.
- Experience using PDA devices and barcode scanning systems.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reliability and the ability to start immediately.
