GMS is looking for a Security / Loss Prevention Officer to work at a highly prestigious site in Northampton, NN6 7GZ. Shift pattern – Days / Nights and Weekends (8.5hr, 11hr or 12hr shifts are available). As a Security Officer with GMS, you will receive a pay rate of £12.60 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Working within a small team of security officers
- Conducting searches of warehouse staff as they leave the warehouse, including shift finish times
- Performing bag and staff searches
- Patrolling the warehouse, maintaining a visible presence
- Performing external patrols of the building and perimeter
- Reporting findings promptly and escalating issues as necessary
- Gatehouse duties, controlling access and egress to the site
- Monitoring CCTV
- Generating accurate written reports
Qualifications

- Professional demeanour with sound judgement
- Capability of working on your own initiative
- CCTV License would be advantageous, but not essential for all roles
- SIA License required – non‑SIA licence holders will not be considered
