Psicon is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in autism and ADHD to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are committed to providing the highest quality diagnostic assessments, treatment, and support for Autism, ADHD, and Mental Wellbeing
About the role:
- Conduct NICE compliant ADHD and autism assessments for adults across our NHS, private medical insurance and self-funded services.
- For those diagnosed with ADHD, determine clinical suitability for pharmacological treatment and create bespoke treatment plans in line with NICE guidelines and company clinical protocols.
- Manage a caseload of patients undergoing titration and shared care.
- Support primary care colleagues through advice, collaboration and training.
- Provide clinical supervision for independent non-medical prescribers, including case reviews and oversight of complex cases.

What we are looking for
- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
- CCT in General Adult Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Psychiatry of Learning Disability, Rehabilitation Psychiatry or Substance Misuse Psychiatry.
- Higher qualifications and/or training in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental conditions are desirable.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.
- Experience working in MDTs for patients with complex needs.
- Strong team ethos and the ability to collaborate effectively.
