Follow NICE guidelines when prescribing. Attend school meetings and safeguarding meetings via TEAMS as required. Undertake duty calls as needed. Use EMIS and electronic prescribing - training can be provided. Receive regular supervision, both clinical and managerial. Work remotely, attending the Canterbury or Basingstoke clinic once a month (expenses paid). Conduct 8-10 appointments a day, including remote review / new patient medication initiation appointments (45 mins) and telephone titration review appointments (15-20 mins). Authorise 8-10 prescriptions within a 45-minute slot. Allocate 30 minutes for administrative tasks.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check. NMC Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice. CAMHS background. BNFC training and ability to follow clinical protocols. Experience working with children and young people and / or adults diagnosed with ADHD. Ability to carry out face-to-face or remote appointments. Applicants must have current UK professional registration.
