This is a full-time, on-site position for a Paver based in Halifax. The Paver will be responsible for installing patios, walkways, driveways, and other hardscape elements using a variety of materials such as stone, concrete, and brick. The role involves site preparation, measuring and cutting materials, laying and securing pavers, and ensuring projects meet design specifications. Additional tasks may include repairing or replacing damaged pavers, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with team members to ensure the successful completion of landscaping projects.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in paving techniques, including laying bricks, concrete, and natural stone
  • Experience in measuring, cutting, and preparing materials for hardscape projects
  • Understanding of basic construction and landscaping layouts
  • Ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment used in paving and landscaping
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Physical stamina to perform duties in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
  • Effective team collaboration and communication skills
  • Prior experience in hardscape installation is preferred
