GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful and well-known manufacturing business located in Pershore.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Author to join their team on a full time, permanent contract, to independently produce high-level documentation.
You will work hands-on with the machinery to translate complex engineering into clear, accurate manuals and qualification packages.
This position is office based, working Monday – Friday 08:00am – 16:30pm offering a salary of up to £40,000 which will be pending relevant, previous experience.
Technical Author main duties
- Producing full documentation packages (Manuals, IQ/OQ, SDS, HDS, DQ, and FDS).
- Working directly with physical machinery to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Contributing to the department to help streamline documentation processes.
- Ensuring all documentation meets required industry standards.
Technical Author required skills and experience
- Minimum 3 years in a technical authoring role with a technical or automation background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent written English and communication skills.
- Organised, attentive to detail, and a desire to pursue a career in engineering.
- Taking care of the company and customers as though they were your own.
- Pursuing new ideas and listening to creative suggestions.
- Encouraging initiative and adopting a well-managed environment.
- Working together with respect to achieve results without conflict.
