GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a highly respected and expanding legal practice in the recruitment of a Residential Development Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious legal professional with 5+ years PQE looking to work on high-quality residential development matters within a well-established and forward-thinking firm. The successful candidate will become an integral part of a busy and supportive department, working closely with developers, landowners and investors across a broad range of residential development transactions.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of residential development matters including:
    • Option agreements
    • Conditional contracts
    • Promotion agreements
    • Supporting developers and landowners through transactions
    • Negotiating and drafting complex legal documentation
    • Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships
    • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • 5+ years PQE within Residential Development
  • Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Motivated, professional and commercially minded
