Working alongside experienced legal professionals, you will advise on a broad range of complex commercial property matters, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused solutions while building long-term client relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own diverse caseload of Commercial Property matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring clients receive a professional, commercially focused and responsive legal service.
Your work will include
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals.
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals and licences.
- Conditional contracts, option agreements and overage agreements.
- Property finance and secured lending transactions.
- Development and regeneration projects.
- Portfolio management and asset transactions.
- Advising clients on complex property matters, identifying legal risks and providing practical commercial solutions.
- Managing matters efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of client care.
- Maintaining accurate time recording, billing and financial management of files.
- Utilising the firm's case management systems within a modern, paper-light environment.
- Team & Business Development
- As an experienced member of the Commercial Property team, you will also:
- Mentor and support junior fee earners and support staff.
- Assist with supervision, knowledge sharing and team development.
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients, agents, developers, lenders and professional referrers.
- Participate in networking and business development activities.
- Contribute to the continued growth and profile of the Commercial Property department.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver outstanding client service.
About You
The successful candidate will possess
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with significant Commercial Property experience.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of Commercial Property transactions.
- The ability to independently manage a varied caseload with confidence.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
