An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their well-established and highly regarded law firm, who have an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional legal services to businesses, developers, investors and private clients.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to manage a high-quality and varied caseload while becoming an integral part of a collaborative and forward-thinking Commercial Property team.

Working alongside experienced legal professionals, you will advise on a broad range of complex commercial property matters, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused solutions while building long-term client relationships.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own diverse caseload of Commercial Property matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring clients receive a professional, commercially focused and responsive legal service.

Your work will include

  • Commercial acquisitions and disposals.
  • Commercial landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals and licences.
  • Conditional contracts, option agreements and overage agreements.
  • Property finance and secured lending transactions.
  • Development and regeneration projects.
  • Portfolio management and asset transactions.
  • Advising clients on complex property matters, identifying legal risks and providing practical commercial solutions.
  • Managing matters efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of client care.
  • Maintaining accurate time recording, billing and financial management of files.
  • Utilising the firm's case management systems within a modern, paper-light environment.
  • Team & Business Development
  • As an experienced member of the Commercial Property team, you will also:
  • Mentor and support junior fee earners and support staff.
  • Assist with supervision, knowledge sharing and team development.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients, agents, developers, lenders and professional referrers.
  • Participate in networking and business development activities.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and profile of the Commercial Property department.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver outstanding client service.

About You

The successful candidate will possess

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with significant Commercial Property experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of Commercial Property transactions.
  • The ability to independently manage a varied caseload with confidence.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to deliver pragmatic, business-focused advice.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine desire to contribute to the success of the wider team.
  • An interest in networking and business development, with the ability to nurture and develop long-term client relationships.
