Customer Service & Administration Coordinator
GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are delighted to be supportinga fast-growing and innovative organisation based in Gloucester, with the recruitment of a Customer Service & Administrative Coordinator to join their expanding team.
We are looking for the successful candidate to start in November 2026 in order to avoid the companies peak busiest time to allow for training and onboarding.

The Role
As a Customer Support & Administration Coordinator, you will play a key role within the Operations team, acting as a central point of contact for customers and supporting the smooth delivery of products and services.
You will provide exceptional customer service across telephone, email and video calls, while also supporting administrative processes, account management, technical queries and client onboarding.
This is a varied role where no two days will necessarily be the same. You will work closely with customers and internal teams, helping to resolve queries, identify solutions, improve processes and ensure customers receive a first-class experience.
The role would suit someone with an inquisitive and proactive mindset, who enjoys technology, is confident learning new systems and isn't afraid to investigate a problem and find a solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing a friendly, professional and responsive service.
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and video calls.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.
- Provide first-line technical support across the company's eReader, LMS, AI and other digital platforms.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and identify appropriate solutions.
- Escalate more complex technical issues to the relevant internal or external teams.
- Support the Sales & Marketing team with customer-focused marketing activity.
- Assist with the development and updating of website content, social media and digital communications.
About You
Previous experience within customer service, administration, technical support, sales support or a technology-focused environment would be advantageous. However, attitude, personality and willingness to learn are equally important.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, personable and naturally inquisitive, with the confidence to communicate with customers and the ability to learn new technology and systems quickly.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to help others.
- Confident and professional telephone and video-call manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and confidence learning new software and systems.
- Experience using CRM or LMS platforms would be advantageous.
- Strong organisation and administration skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and manage deadlines effectively.
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge or experience of websites, SEO and social media would be desirable.
- A willingness to learn about new products, technologies and processes.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team while also working independently when working from home.
- A positive attitude, good sense of humour and willingness to get involved.
