GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are recruiting on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking law firm, who are looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Associate or Senior Associate to join their established team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded conveyancing professional with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE, a strong technical background and a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will ideally have an established client following, referral network or professional connections, alongside the drive to generate new business and contribute to the continued growth of the department.
The Role:
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion.
- Handling sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold transactions, re-mortgages, shared ownership and lease extensions.
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice throughout the transaction process.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, referrers and other professional contacts.
- Developing new business opportunities while strengthening existing referral networks.
- Delivering an outstanding client experience and maintaining high standards of service.
- Using case management systems and modern conveyancing technology to ensure an efficient and effective service.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Solicitor, CILEX professional or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 5 years’ PQE or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload independently.
- Strong technical knowledge and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- An established client following, referral network or professional contacts.
- A proactive approach to business development, with the ability to generate new opportunities and develop existing relationships.
- A commercially minded attitude, with a genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service.
- Confidence using case management systems and modern conveyancing technology.
