Commercial & Agricultural Solicitor
Location: Cheltenham | Office Based
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
GMP Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established and respected law firm in Cheltenham in recruiting a Commercial & Agricultural Solicitor to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor to join a progressive firm, handling a varied caseload of commercial and agricultural matters while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the continued success of the department.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, advising a broad client base on commercial and agricultural legal matters. Duties will include:
- Advising clients on a range of commercial legal matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements.
- Handling agricultural matters and supporting clients with their legal requirements within the rural and farming sectors.
- Managing transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent standard of client service.
- Supporting the ongoing development and growth of the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial and/or Agricultural law.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills.
- A commercially minded approach, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
