GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a fast-growing and highly successful global supplier of industrial equipment, based in the Worcester area. We are currently recruiting for a Tower Assembler to join their team on a 4-week temporary basis, with an immediate start available from Tuesday 27th May 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a respected global manufacturer in a supportive and well-structured environment.
Shift Times:
- Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:00
- Friday: 07:00 – 14:00
Pay Rates:
- £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Assemble tower components according to engineering specifications and quality standards
- Follow manuals, drawings, and work orders to complete tasks
- Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly
- Identify and resolve quality discrepancies during production
- Maintain accurate documentation, including customer-specific requirements
- Manage personal workload and meet production deadlines
- Adhere to company safety practices and protocols
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical assembly or a production environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Comfortable using powered tools and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- FLT and overhead crane experience beneficial (training available if needed)
