GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a fast-growing and highly successful global supplier of industrial equipment, based in the Worcester area. We are currently recruiting for a Tower Assembler to join their team on a 4-week temporary basis, with an immediate start available from Tuesday 27th May 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a respected global manufacturer in a supportive and well-structured environment.

Shift Times:

  • Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:00
  • Friday: 07:00 – 14:00

Pay Rates:

  • £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble tower components according to engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Follow manuals, drawings, and work orders to complete tasks
  • Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly
  • Identify and resolve quality discrepancies during production
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including customer-specific requirements
  • Manage personal workload and meet production deadlines
  • Adhere to company safety practices and protocols

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical assembly or a production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Comfortable using powered tools and measuring equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • FLT and overhead crane experience beneficial (training available if needed)
