Our client is continuing to expand their operations and is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business offering long-term employment and full training.
The successful Warehouse Operative will receive an annual salary of Β£24,500 β Β£28,000, dependant on experience.
The hours for this position are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 09:00am β 17:00pm
Warehouse Operative main duties:
β’ Receiving and unloading incoming shipments
β’ Verifying and inspecting incoming materials for quality and accuracy
β’ Organising and stocking inventory in designated warehouse locations
β’ Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
β’ Assembling and testing products prior to dispatch
β’ Preparing shipping labels and relevant documentation
β’ Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
β’ Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised working environment
β’ Adhering to all health and safety procedures and guidelines
Warehouse Operative desired skills and experience:
β’ Ability to lift heavy objects and carry out physical tasks as required
β’ High attention to detail and accuracy
β’ Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing
β’ Willingness to learn, as full training will be provided
β’ Ability to work effectively within a busy warehouse environment
β’ Good organisational skills
β’ Strong teamworking skills
β’ Excellent communication skills
