GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a growing and well-established organisation. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for someone to join their team as a Warehouse Operative on a full time, permanent, contract.

Our client is continuing to expand their operations and is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business offering long-term employment and full training.

The successful Warehouse Operative will receive an annual salary of Β£24,500 – Β£28,000, dependant on experience.

The hours for this position are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 09:00am – 17:00pm

Warehouse Operative main duties:

β€’ Receiving and unloading incoming shipments
β€’ Verifying and inspecting incoming materials for quality and accuracy
β€’ Organising and stocking inventory in designated warehouse locations
β€’ Picking and packing orders ready for shipment
β€’ Assembling and testing products prior to dispatch
β€’ Preparing shipping labels and relevant documentation
β€’ Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
β€’ Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised working environment
β€’ Adhering to all health and safety procedures and guidelines

Warehouse Operative desired skills and experience:

β€’ Ability to lift heavy objects and carry out physical tasks as required
β€’ High attention to detail and accuracy
β€’ Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing
β€’ Willingness to learn, as full training will be provided
β€’ Ability to work effectively within a busy warehouse environment

β€’ Strong teamworking skills
β€’ Excellent communication skills
