GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a fast growing and successful business that support individuals with mobility and independence. We are supporting their recruitment for a Sales Order Processor to join their team on a full time, permanent contract located at their Dudley site. The working hours for this role are Monday β Thursday 07:00am β 16:00pm with a 13:00pm finish on a Friday with a salary offered at Β£27,500.
As a Senior Order Processor, you will be managing the smooth flow of orders and oversee the full order cycle β from raising purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers to liaising with internal teams β ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage.
You\βll manage the full order cycle using a bespoke CRM system, from raising purchase orders to liaising with suppliers and coordinating with internal teams. Working closely with Sales and Purchasing, you\βll clarify order details, flag any issues early, and help deliver an exceptional customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Schedule all internal and external orders across the business, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Process customer and internal business orders, keeping the Manufacturing team updated on outstanding purchase orders.
- Raise purchase and work orders as required by other departments.
- Proactively identify process inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements to enhance departmental performance.
- Place orders for consumables including fabric, foam, tilt-in-space mechanisms, and seminar components.
Required skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar or relevant administration role
- Exceptional attention to detail both numerically and in written language
- Ability to demonstrate organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and great telephone manner when speaking with customers
- Confident and assertive whilst remaining approachable and helpful
