Production Operator

Job description GMP Recruitment are recruiting for an Assembly Operative with brazing experience to work in the Refrigeration Department for a prestigious manufacturing business based in Bromsgrove. This is a temp-to-perm position that offers long-term progression opportunities. Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30 – 16:45 Early finish Friday: 7:30 – 12:30 Pay Rate: £12.21 to £13.50 per hour Dependent on Experience. Key Responsibilities: * Manual assembly of refrigeration parts and components * Performing brazing operations as part of the refrigeration assembly process * Operation of hand tools and power tools to fit and finish products * Visual quality inspection of finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards * Handling of raw goods/materials relevant to refrigeration manufacturing * Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality * Following health and safety procedures specific to refrigeration assembly and brazing processes Competency Test: You will be required to complete a practical test, including: * Measuring specific dimensions accurately * Using a drill and placing drill bits correctly * Drilling holes as marked * Installing and pulling rivets using a lobster riveter Key Skills: * Previous brazing experience, ideally within refrigeration or similar manufacturing * A hardworking, can-do attitude towards work * Great communication skills * Previous production or assembly experience * Ability to excel within a team environment * Excellent attention to detail and quality control The role comes with weekly pay, online payslips, and dedicated consultant support.
