GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a well-respected and highly successful law firm, who serve clients nationwide. We are currently supporting their recruitment for a Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join their busy Residential Property team on a full-time, permanent basis, located at their Malvern office. This is an office-based role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced legal administrator with strong property law experience to join a progressive and forward-thinking legal practice. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday – Friday, 09:00am – 17:30pm, with salary dependent on relevant experience. Flexible or part-time arrangements may also be considered depending on the candidate\\\’s experience.
As a Legal Secretary/Paralegal, you will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to a busy Residential Property department, supporting the property fee earners in managing a diverse caseload. This role will suit someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, who can confidently manage multiple duties, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to property fee earners.
- Draft legal documents, letters, and emails from dictation.
- Open and close files accurately, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Manage all post-completion requirements with Land Registry and HMRC.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
- Undertake general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and document management.
- Support the team in managing competing deadlines and workload effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a legal administrator or secretary, preferably in residential property law.
- Strong clerical and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of legal procedures and document preparation is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
