GMP Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client in Gloucester for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join their team on a full time, permanent position.

You will be offered a basic salary of £25-30k plus OTE with great potential to earn based on delivery and achieving targets.
This is a full time, permanent position with working hours 9:00am – 17:30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9:00am – 13:00pm. You will receive a day off in the week following 2 Saturdays worked.
Our client is a highly recognisable and award-wining organisation that are specialists in residential sales, lettings and property management throughout Gloucester and the surrounding area. Due to a period of continual growth and success, this position can offer an immediate start for the successful candidate.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the local market and will be able to offer the support and advice to all customers throughout the rental process.
The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced Lettings/Sales negotiator that can demonstrate previous success in a similar role within the property industry with excellent customer service skills.
You must have a full UK driving license to be considered.
Lettings Negotiator main duties:
* Register applicants and match applicants to properties.
* Arrange and attend viewings.
* Conduct market appraisals and obtain new business as targeted.
* Give only carefully considered and qualified market advice using effective comparables.
* Supervision of an effective applicant database, ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective tenants.
* Achieve pre-agreed targets
* Liaise and negotiate offers between landlords and tenants.
* Communicate with landlords with regards to marketing feedback, viewings and hot prospects, put forward offers from applicants and agree terms with landlords.
* Provide practical solutions to landlords with regards to achieving a prompt let.
* Generate new and repeat business opportunities for market appraisals, instructions, viewing and lets.
* Pass on completed application forms to Lettings Coordinator for processing.
* Ensure all tenancies commence in line with current legislation and Martin & Co guidelines.
* Maximise board presence and always promote brand awareness.
* Canvassing / leafleting to seek new business opportunities including targeting competitors.
* Signing up tenants and working through the whole tenancy check in process.
* Ensure offers are accepted, all terms agreed, and application forms are completed in full by prospective tenants.
* Process completed application forms.
* Take deposits and record and receipt all monies.
* Progress transactions accurately and efficiently.
Lettings Negotiator desired skills and experience:
* Previous sales experience in a property/estate agency environment
* Confident professional and enthusiastic approach to work
* Target driven and able to hit and exceed targets set
* Strong administrative skills
* Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner and client care expertise are essential
* Diary management and the ability to deliver great work in a demanding and fast paced office environment
You will also have access to a company car during working hours for valuations/viewing purposes.
