About the Company
GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a highly successful, specialist Windows and Doors manufacturer located in the Worcestershire area. We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a customer focussed Contract Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis, working from their Upton Upon Severn site. Due to the location you will need your own transportation. On offer is a salary of up to £32,000 pending relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively process all customer enquiries and orders in an accurate, professional and timely manner in accordance with the company KPI's, proactively working with operational areas to provide customers with proactive communication and accurate delivery timescales by phone and email.
- Manage the end-to-end processing of customer orders across Supply Only, Survey & Supply, and Survey, Supply & Fit services.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, proactively providing updates on delivery schedules, shipment progress, and any delays, including corrective action plans where required.
- Maintain regular, professional communication with customers via phone and email to confirm delivery dates and manage expectations.
- Liaise closely with internal departments (logistics, operations, production and sales) to obtain accurate shipment information and ensure smooth order progression.
- Work directly with Contracts Managers, Surveyors and other key stakeholders to coordinate activities and meet customer requirements.
- Produce weekly status reports for management and customers, detailing order progress, production stages and delivery lead times.
- Provide customers with product and technical information, escalating complex queries to specialist departments where necessary.
- Resolve order and delivery queries efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct initial order checks to identify inaccuracies, missing components or specification issues.
- Ensure all processing is fully compliant with company procedures, quality standards and service level agreements.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery addresses and site details prior to dispatch.
- Maintain daily communication with customers regarding imminent deliveries to ensure readiness and minimise disruption.
