We specialise in temporary and permanent recruitment for the Industrial, Technical & Engineering, Commercial and Business Support sectors. We are seeking a diligent and reliable Office Cleaner to join our team on a temporary contract of 3 months. The successful candidate will ensure that our office space is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a pleasant and safe environment for all employees and visitors. This position is for 2 hours during the week with the working hours fitting into 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday offering £15 p/h. The successful candidate can choose their hours to fit around them. What you will do: * General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping in all areas of the office, including workspaces, meeting rooms, and common areas. * Sanitization: Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, and high-touch surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment. * Trash Management: Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables. * Spot Cleaning: Address spills, stains, and other incidents promptly to prevent damage and maintain appearance. * Equipment Care: Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance needs to the supervisor. * Compliance: Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment. What we are looking for: * Previous experience in office cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not required. * Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and good time management skills. * Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. * Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. * Communication: Basic communication skills to understand instructions and interact with team members and supervisors. * Work is performed indoors in an office environment.
