You’ll join an established Farms Estates team within a highly regarded advisory firm, working with a diverse portfolio of agricultural enterprises, rural estates, landowners and agribusinesses. This is a varied, client-facing role offering exposure to both compliance and advisory work within a niche and rewarding sector. Importantly, this position is open to both practice-trained accountants and individuals with industry experience, provided you bring strong sector knowledge across agriculture or rural businesses.

Your key focus areas
- Managing or supporting a portfolio of rural and agricultural clients
- Overseeing preparation and review of annual accounts and tax computations
- Advising on remuneration planning and profit forecasting
- Supporting capital tax planning and reviewing VAT returns
- Building strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor
- Identifying opportunities to add value across tax and commercial matters
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Representing the firm at industry and networking events
What you’ll bring
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience within either: Accountancy Practice (Business Services / Rural Teams), OR Industry roles within agriculture, estates or rural businesses
- Strong understanding of the rural or agricultural sector
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building ability
- Commercial awareness and an advisory mindset
- Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage and Excel
