About the Role
We are looking for a talented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from initial concepts and research through design, manufacture, installation and final commissioning.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Manage projects through the full product development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacture and implementation.
- Design mechanical systems and components to meet customer and project requirements.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Carry out engineering calculations, feasibility studies and performance testing.
- Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Support production and commissioning teams during equipment build and installation.
- Investigate technical challenges, identify root causes and develop effective engineering solutions.
- Evaluate product performance, reliability and safety, making design improvements where required.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, operating manuals and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, production and commissioning to deliver successful projects.
- Keep up to date with new engineering technologies and methodologies.
